چکیده
Over the past years, growth of high aspect ratio (HAR) anodic TiO2 nanotubes in a very short time (minute scale) has remained challenging. In present report, nanotube (TNT) layers with HAR ≈ 450 were obtained during only 15 min optimized anodization. The key feature is use NH4F/H2O/ethylene glycol (EG) electrolytes addition lactic acid (LA) that prevents dielectric breakdown and enables anodization at higher potentials compared to classical NH4F/H2O/EG electrolyte without LA. thickness average diameter TNT for minutes’ 160 V approximately 80 µm 170 nm, respectively. Furthermore, we show first temperature anodizing, previously introduced as driving force time, can be avoided by an accurate optimization conditions room temperature. results clearly containing LA serve promising candidate ergonomic economic production on Ti substrates times, i.e. LA, significantly reduced from several hours or days 15–30 min.

Atomic Layer Deposition for Coating of High Aspect Ratio TiO2 Nanotube Layers
We present an optimized approach for the deposition of Al2O3 (as a model secondary material) coating into high aspect ratio (≈180) anodic TiO2 nanotube layers using the atomic layer deposition (ALD) process. In order to study the influence of the diffusion of the Al2O3 precursors on the resulting coating thickness, ALD processes with different exposure times (i.e., 0.5, 2, 5, and 10 s) of the t...
متن کاملFreestanding TiO2 Nanotube Arrays with Ultrahigh Aspect Ratio via Electrochemical Anodization
Self-organized, freestanding titania (TiO2) membrane with ultrahigh aspect ratio of the length/diameter (∼1500) was fabricated via electrochemical anodization of highly pure titanium (Ti) foil in fluorinecontaining ethylene glycol, followed by a simple and safe detachment of the formed TiO2 membrane from the metallic Ti substrate. The resulting membrane consists of highly ordered, vertically al...

A facile process is introduced to flake high aspect-ratio anodic TiO(2) nanotube (TiNT) arrays off Ti substrates and then chemically remove the bottom caps to obtain open-ended TiNT films that exhibit high activity to photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and efficient hydrogen production from photoelectrocatalytic water splitting.
متن کاملTransparent TiO2 nanotube array photoelectrodes prepared via two-step anodization
Two-step anodization of transparent TiO2 nanotube arrays has been demonstrated with aid of a Nb-doped TiO2 buffer layer deposited between the Ti layer and TCO substrate. Enhanced physical adhesion and electrochemical stability provided by the buffer layer has been found to be important for successful implementation of the two-step anodization process. With the proposed approach, the morphology ...

Copper electrodeposition in high-aspect-ratio through-holes micromachined by deep reactive ion etching is one of the most essential processes for fabricating through-wafer interconnects, which will be used in developing future generation high-speed, compact 3D microelectronic devices. Although copper electrodeposition is a well-established process, completely void-free electroplating in very de...
